Description
This pinot noir has elevated aromas of ripe dark cherries intermixed with anise, earthy notes, some meatiness and spicy cedar. Rich and full, the palate is laden with ripe black cherry and anise flavours which overlay a backdrop of toasty cedar, dried meats and earth.
Sitting on the seaside at “The Gulch” in Bicheno, Australia, Apsley Gorge crafts wines made with grapes that are hand pruned and hand picked to maintain the quality of the fruit from vineyard to winery.
